Desiging websites is one of my big hobbies, but I don't always have the time to commit to running websites for people. Also, the demands of someone else's website usually require that well-established, well supported techonologies are used, when I would rather experiment with the latest and greatest methods around.
The solution is this: my personal website. Although I hope you'll find this site useful and informative, I can express my designing needs without deadlines and I can experiment with new web technologies without concern for alienating people using out-of-date browsers.
In particular the latter criteria has meant that people using the world's most numerous browser are unsupported. Internet Explorer is simply too out of date to use many of the things I want to experiment with (CSS3 and SVG are two things that immediatley spring to mind). I am not however one of these people who like to bash Microsoft just because they are a big company: as soon as Internet Explorer supports the latest web standards, I will support Internet Explorer.
